Benefits Of Project
The project is proposed by Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike. The route will connect Banashakari to NICE road. The expressway will solve traffic-related issues. It will save time of the commuters using that route.
Cost Of The Project
The estimated cost of the project is Rs 1,200 crore. The project will make travel easier for the commuters. As per media reports, the project was in need following the orders from Karnataka Deputy CM DK Shivakumar. DK Shiakumar has highlighted the need for an alternative route to tackle traffic issues in Bengaluru.
Letter To BBMP Chief Commissioner By DK Shivakumar Highlighted Traffic Problems
As reported by Hindustan Times, in the letter written to Chief Commissioner of BBMP, Tushar Girinath, Karnataka Deputy CM DK Shivakumar pointed out the traffic-related problems faced by commuters in Bengaluru. He further recommended the use of the Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Boards pipeline for the new infrastructure.
As per reports, it is been confirmed by the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike that, the tender will be soon sent for the DPR.
