A video surfaced on Monday showing a rowdy sheeter forcing a man to strip, assault, and chase after him down a busy city road.

Bengaluru: A video surfaced on Monday showing a rowdy sheeter forcing a man to strip, assault, and chase after him down a busy city road. The Bengaluru police have registered a case in this matter.

The suspect behind the assault is Pawan Gowda, widely known as Kadubu. The victim too has a history in the underworld. Bengaluru police have arrested Pawan Gowda.

Bengaluru Police Took Action After 10 Days

Police acted only after the viral video, as reported by CNN, 10 days after the incident occurred in the prime area of the city. The accused reportedly said to the victim, “If you want to leave here alive, leave your clothes behind.”

Serious concerns have started rising regarding the law and order situation in the city.

The victim had not filed any complaint till Monday. Police started suo motu investigation, alleging the motive as personal. No arrest has been made so far.
