The driver who was operating a BMTC bus on one of Bengaluru’s busy routes when he began showing signs of distress. According to reports, the driver complained of chest pain moments before collapsing at the wheel. As the bus was in motion on a bustling road, the situation posed an immediate threat to the safety of all passengers and other vehicles on the road. The bus initially swerved slightly, creating panic among the passengers.

The BMTC has issued a statement expressing condolences to the driver’s family and commending the conductor for his lifesaving actions.
