Kolkata: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday appointed a 4 member Facts finding committee to visit violence affected areas in West Bengal.

According to the saffron Party, the committee will visit the areas where many people were killed in Panchayat poll related violences.

Former Union Minister and Lok Sabha Member RaviShankar Prasad nominated as Convenor of the Committee. Ex Mumbai Commissioner and MP Satyapal Singh, MP Rajdeep Singh and Rekha Verma are the other members of 4 members fact finding committee. 

As Many as 20 people were killed and varios injured in violence related to Panchayat Poll related barbarity in the state. Many incidents of booth capturing and alleged malfunctioning in the poll process have also been reported. 

Meanwhile, The re-voting for over 600 booths in 19 districts is underway.
