Centre Calls It A Propaganda
The controversial film is based on the tenure of PM Narendra Modi as Cheif Minister in Gujarat during the riots played out in 2022, resulting in a mass execution. The documentary did not go well with the Centre who asked every social media site to take down the link to stop its streaming. Several in the central government said that the documentary is mere a propaganda while the Opposition has slammed it as a blatant move. This comes after the Jawaharlal Nehru University Students’ Union also decided to screen the documentary in the campus which ultimately led to protest at midnight. As students were 'frevently' waiting to watch the controversial documentary together, the power went off barely half an hours before the screening. The internet was also shut down in the campus after groups of students huddled up to watch the film in their laptops and mobile phones. The protestors called it a deliberate blackout while the Union Eductaion Ministry entirely dismissed the claims saying that it was a massive power failure.Read More :- Latest India News
