In the latest development in Baba Siddique Murder Case, the Mumbai Crime Branch has recovered another pistol from Rupesh Mohol’s house in Pune. Mumbai police said that it is the fifth weapon recovered in this murder case. The Crime Branch is still looking for one weapon and three live cartridges in this case.
Rupesh Rajendra Mohol along with Karan Rahul Salve, and Shivam Arvind Kohad was brought to Mumbai and produced before Esplanade Metropolitan Magistrate court on October 24. The court had remanded the trio in police custody till November 4. The trio recced Zeeshan Siddique’s office in Bandra East where NCP leader Baba Siddique was shot dead on October 12, stated the police.

What Did The Police Say?
Mumbai Police further informed that five teams of the Mumbai Crime Branch are currently out of Maharashtra, searching for the accused in Haryana and Rajasthan. The weapons for Baba Siddiqui’s murder came from Rajasthan, while teams have been deployed in Haryana to search for the mastermind of the murder.

As part of the investigation into the Baba Siddique murder case, Mumbai police have made several arrests, taking the number of persons in the custody to 14.
Former Maharashtra Minister and NCP leader was shot dead on October 12 in Bandra East outside his son Zeeshan’s office. Mumbai Crime Branch has been investigating the case. On 19 October, police informed that the shooters and conspirators used Snapchat to communicate and coordinate with each other. Investigation revealed that a picture of NCP leader Baba Siddique’s son, Zeeshan Siddique was shared to the accused by their handler. Mumbai Police said, “A picture of Baba Siddique’s son Zeeshan Siddique was found in the phone of the accused in Baba Siddique’s murder. This picture was shared with the accused by their handler through Snapchat. Investigation revealed that the shooters and conspirators used Snapchat to share information.”
