Baba Siddique Death News LIVE Updates: Former Maharashtra minister and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader, Baba Siddique, was shot dead by three unidentified gunmen in Mumbai on Saturday. He breathed his last in a Mumbai hospital after succumbing to his injuries. Mumbai Police have reportedly arrested two suspects in the shooting case.
The names of the two arrested accused are Karnail Singh who is from Haryana and Dharamraj Kashyap who is from Uttar Pradesh. The accused had done recce of Baba Siddiqui's house and office premises, they were in Mumbai for one and a half to two months and were keeping an eye on him. Mumbai Police has recovered a 9.9 MM pistol used in the Baba Siddique's murder and has arrested two persons in connection with Baba Siddiqui murder case, ANI reported.
Additional CP Paramjit Singh Dahiya says, "Around 9:30 pm this incident happened in Nirmal Nagar. Baba Siddique was admitted to Lilavati Hospital after this incident. Police have arrested two accused. Crime Branch Mumbai is investigating the entire matter."
