Lucknow: Anas Ansari, a resident of Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh, threatened to kill Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, head of Bageshwar Dham. The accused reportedly posted a threat on Instagram Writing  ‘Baba Pr Maut madra Rhi Hai’. 

A controversial post about Sanatan Dharma and its preacher Dhirendra Shastri sparked outrage among Hindu organisations. Considering the seriousness of the matter, a case has been registered against the accused. 

Anas Ansari, a resident of Rithora under Hafiz Ganj police station, created an Instagram ID named mr_anas2332. On this, he posted passionately about Sanatan Dharma and its preacher Pandit Dhirendra Shastri. He also threatened to kill Pandit Dhirendra Shastri. A complaint has been filed with the police by Hindu Jagran Manch and Vishwa Hindu Parishad.

The accused was arrested

The intelligence unit of the police started investigating the matter. SP Dehat Rajkumar Aggarwal said that in this case, Anas Ansari posted objectionable posts against Sanatan Dharma and Pandit Dhirendra Shastri and threatened to kill him. In this case, the police have registered a case at Hafiz Ganj police station and arrested the accused.
