The BJP has established its government in Delhi after a 27-year waiting period. Chief Minister of Delhi, Rekha Gupta made her first political victory by winning the Shalimar Bagh assembly to establish her governance as the 9th Chief Minister. Through this action, she has presented a valuable gift to all Delhi residents.
During her first cabinet session Rekha Gupta announced the the medical care system for all residents of Delhi. As the first item on her cabinet agenda, she approved the Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Yojana.
Through the Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Yojana, residents of Delhi can now benefit from treatment without charge. Resident of Delhi will enjoy both the benefits, under the Ayushman Yojana, treatment upto Rs 5 lakhs is available.
When patients in Delhi receive medical care it will be free up to a total of 10 lakhs under this scheme.
The Government of India established particular Ayushman card eligibility criteria that residents of Delhi must fulfill when applying for their card. Under this program, only the qualified population of Delhi can obtain Ayushman cards.
For checking the eligibility one need to visit the official site of https://pmjay.gov.in/. Once you visit the site, then you have to click on the option ‘Am I Eligible’. Once you do this then, you have to enter the captcha code. Then you will receive an OTP, using which you have to login.
People can also check the eligibility by entering your state and the Aadhaar Card number. Not only this but one can visit the common service centre, Gram Panchayat or Asha worker or Ayushman Mitra present in the hospital. If you are found eligible then you can get the Ayushman Card.
