The name of the Ayodhya railway station has been changed. The railway station will now be known as Ayodhya Dham. The order to change the station’s name was issued on Wednesday evening by the railway authorities. It is reported that during an inspection two days ago, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed the desire to name the station Ayodhya Dham. Following this, the decision was made.
This announcement has brought joy to devotees of Lord Rama. The railway department has confirmed this decision. On January 22, the consecration ceremony of Lord Rama’s idol will take place in Ayodhya. The event is expected to attract a massive influx of devotees to the city.
