Major accident in the BB Danda police station area on Ayodhya highway Friday. The uncontrolled Maarung Loaded dumper veered off the highway and rammed into a hut. The dumper ran over a sleeping couple and their two children inside the hut. All four died on the spot. The woman was eight months pregnant. The couple’s seven-year-old daughter was the youngest victim.
Umesh, 35, a tile worker of Jaunpur in Barabanki, lived with his wife Neelam, 32, sons Golu, 4, Sunny, 13, and daughter Vaishnavi in a hut near the Ayodhya highway. On Monday night, the entire family was sleeping in the hut when around 1 am an uncontrolled dumper crashed into the hut. Umesh, Neelam, Golu, and Sunny died in the accident while only Vaishnavi survived. On getting the information, police removed the bodies and sent them for postmortem. They arrested the dumper driver. Neelam was eight months pregnant. Her nephew Dharam Singh has filed an FIR.

A tragic road accident on the Lucknow-Agra Expressway in Unnao district, Uttar Pradesh, has left at least five persons dead. The accident occurred when a speeding Scorpio car collided with a truck and caused fatal injuries to the occupants inside the car. Several others were also injured in the crash and rushed immediately to nearby hospitals for treatment.
The truck driver is reportedly absconding and officials are currently on the lookout for him. Eyewitnesses claimed the Scorpio car was coming from Delhi to Ayodhya when its collision with the truck happened. Local residents claimed the same, noting the SUV was at a high speed just before the tragic incident.
The district hospital has taken the bodies of the deceased for post-mortem examination to find out the exact reason behind their death. The authorities have ensured that the family members of all those who were involved in this devastating accident have been contacted.
