Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, preparations are in full swing to make Ayodhya’s ninth Deepotsav 2025 the most grand, divine, and historic celebration ever. The city of Lord Shri Ram is all set to glow with millions of diyas as final arrangements near completion.
Under the Chief Minister’s guidance, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University, Ayodhya, is playing a pivotal role in this year’s Deepotsav. Led by Vice Chancellor Colonel Dr. Bijendra Singh, university faculty members and thousands of volunteers once again showcased exemplary dedication and service at the celebration site on Friday.
Starting at 10 a.m., volunteers departed from the university campus in reserved buses for Ram Ki Paidi. Transportation Coordinator Professor Anoop Kumar shared that volunteers began gathering early in the morning, their enthusiasm filling the campus. Divided into organized groups, they reached the ghats to ensure smooth and systematic lamp-lighting operations.
Vice Chancellor Colonel Dr. Bijendra Singh personally inspected all ghats with various teams, emphasizing that “Deepotsav is not merely an event but a people’s festival that upholds the ideals and glory of Lord Shri Ram. Every volunteer is serving with devotion, seeing this as Ram’s work.”
The university team reported that over 60% of the lamps have already been laid, with several ghats achieving their full targets. Work on decorating diyas across all 56 ghats continues rapidly under the supervision of ghat in-charges and coordinators.
Senior faculty members, officials, teachers, and a large number of volunteers actively participated in the preparations. Amidst the glow of diyas, echoes of devotion, and chants of “Jai Shri Ram,” it is evident that, under CM Yogi Adityanath’s vision, Ayodhya Deepotsav 2025 is poised to create a golden chapter that will be cherished for generations.
