Ayodhya: The most awaited Hindu temple, Ram Temple is going to open soon, the construction committee, Nripendra Mishra, announced that the temple is expected to open for devotees on 24 January 2024. The celebration for 10 days with ceremonies scheduled for the process of Lord Rama’s consecration.
He said, “The ground floor work of the three-storey Ram temple has been completed. The trustees of Ram Mandir Trust have decided that the process of the consecration of Ram Lalla will be started after the Makar Sankranti festival which will fall on January 14. Between January 14 and January 24, a 10-day ritual of Ram Lalla’s Pran Pratishtha will be observed.”
Top astrologers in the country, according to Temple Trust sources, have advised the fortunate dates of January 21, 22, 24, and 25 for Pran Pratishtha. According to sources, Ram Lalla may be consecrated on January 22, as that is the finest date. The Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust will invite Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the consecration event, which will see the idol of Ram Lalla put in the sanctum sanctorum sanctorum of the Ram temple in Ayodhya.
Trust general secretary Champat Rai said, “As no date has yet been fixed for the consecration of the idol, the PM will be asked to give his permission regarding any favourable date between December 2023 and January 26, 2024.”
