Maharashtra Politics: The leader of the Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray) faction has claimed of stone pelting at the convoy of former Maharashtra minister Aditya Thackeray in Aurangabad. It is claimed that the stone-pelting took place when Aaditya Thackeray was on the way to address a public meeting. The alleged incident happened during Shiv Samvad Yatra in Aurangabad’s Vaijapur area.
Shiv Sena leader writes to the Director General of Police
The Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) leader claimed that stones were pelted at Aditya Thackeray’s convoy ahead of his public meeting in Vaijapur area. According to information, Shiv Sena leader Ambadas Danave has written a letter to Maharashtra Director General of Police regarding the security breach at Aaditya Thackeray event and urged DGP to take appropriate action. He said that there was a lapse in security in this matter and it should be seriously investigated.
Police Declines Stone Pelting
Aurangabad SP Manish Kalwania Declined the claim of Shiv sena ( Uddhav) faction. He said the two rival groups were shouting slogans against each other and there was no incident of stone pelting occurring. Let us inform you that Leader of Opposition in Maharashtra Legislative Council Ambadas Danve tweeted that stones were thrown at the convoy of Aaditya Thackray. In his tweet, he said “It is an attempt to create discord between Hindu and Dalit communities and we condemn it”.
