Around 10:30 am, sources from the Chief Minister’s office reported that the convoy, traveling from Imphal to Jiribam district, encountered an attack along National Highway-37.

Where was Manipur CM going

Some people cut off a man’s head in Jiribam on June 6, which made things very chaotic in the area since then. To deal with this, the Chief Minister, Biren Singh, was supposed to go there on Tuesday. Because of what happened, about 70 houses and some government offices were set on fire, and many people had to leave the place in a hurry.
