Just after Mafia Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf were shot dead by 3 miscreants in presence of police personnel in Prayagraj, Samajwadi Party Chief and former UP CM Akhilesh Yadav said crime in UP has reached its peak and the morals of the criminals have grown high.

He took to Twitter to express his anger over the law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh.

“Crime has reached its peak in UP and the morale of the criminals is high. When someone can be killed by firing openly amidst the security cordon of the police, then what about the safety of the general public? Due to this, an atmosphere of fear is being created among the public, it seems that some people are deliberately creating such an atmosphere,” said Akhilesh Yadav.
