The map showed a tea garden in Nagaland as being in Assam, which caused confusion among the locals. They attacked the police team and held them overnight. One officer was injured.

Only three officers were in uniform, which added to the confusion. Once the Assam Police learned about the situation, they contacted the Nagaland Police for help. The Nagaland Police arrived quickly and rescued the officers.
