Navneet Rana, the BJP candidate from Maharashtra and incumbent Lok Sabha MP from Amravati, stirred up the country’s political scene with a statement challenging AIMIM Chief and Lok Sabha MP Asaduddin Owaisi, along with his brother Akbaruddin Owaisi. Asaduddin Owaisi responded vehemently to Navneet’s challenge, sparking a heated exchange of words just before the fourth phase of voting in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and intensifying the election atmosphere.

Asaduddin Owaisi, the AIMIM Chief, challenged Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stating that he should not only give him 15 seconds but an hour to see how much humanity remains. He questioned Modi’s visit to Pakistan in 2014 to meet Nawaz Sharif without an invitation, suggesting that it implied Muslims are all associated with Pakistan. Owaisi emphasized their readiness to face any challenge, stating that they accept the open challenge and are prepared for it. He also brought up the RSS and other issues, inviting clarification on the meeting location.

The viral video shows Navneet Rana stating that removing the police for 15 seconds in Hyderabad would make it impossible to know the whereabouts of the Owaisi brothers – AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi and his brother Akbaruddin. Rana made this statement on May 8 while campaigning in Hyderabad to garner support for BJP candidate Madhavi Lata. She addressed the public meeting and made this assertion during her speech.
