Arvind Kejriwal Withdraws Petition Against Arrest In Supreme Court

Enforcement Directorate claims that their side should be heard before rendering a decision about Arvind Kejriwal.

The petition lodged in the Supreme Court opposing Arvind Kejriwal’s arrest has been withdrawn. Additionally, ED has cautioned the Supreme Court. There has been a request to hear ED’s side as well. ED claims that their side should be heard before deciding anything on Arvind Kejriwal. The ED has a ton of evidence that can prove Kejriwal wrong.

Who will look after the case of Arvind Kejriwal?

The matter will be heard by Justice Sanjeev Khanna’s special bench. Abhishek Manu Singhvi, Kejriwal’s attorney, arrived at the Supreme Court early in the morning. He was asked to present Kejriwal’s case before Sanjeev Khanna’s bench by Chief Justice DY Chandrachud’s bench. A three-judge panel chaired by Justices Sanjeev Khanna, MM Sundaresh, and Bela M. Trivedi will now hear the petition.
