New Delhi: The Aam Aadmi party will initiate a door-to-door reach campaign from 5th march in New Delhi under which All AAP MLAs will brief people of the National Capital about the alleged false cases registered against its erstwhile ministers Satendra Jain and Manish Sisodia.
The decision was taken in a meeting of all AAP MLAs called by Delhi’s Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday.
After CBI got 5 days of custody of Manish Sisodia in an alleged violation of Delhi’s new liquor policy, Manish and Satendra resigned from their post.
Satendra Jain was arrested by Enforcement Directorate in connection with an alleged money laundering case in May last year. Since then, he is undertrial and lodged in Jail.
“From March 5, Aam Aadmi Party will go door-to-door and inform the people of Delhi about our two innocent ministers being framed in false cases. We will hold street meetings (nukkad sabha) across Delhi,” a source said.
Aam Aadmi party reportedly will divide portfolios of Sisodia and Jain between Atishi and Saurabh Bhardwaj.
