Arvind Kejriwal Meets Newly Elected AAP MLAs- What He Said Will Leave You..

AAP National Convenor and former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal held a meeting with the winning AAP MLAs. During this meeting various things got discussed.

Delhi held its Assembly election on February 5, 2025. The result for the same was out on February 8, 2025. The Bhartiya Janata Party won the elections with a huge margin. They got 48 seats out of 70 assembly seats, whereas Aam Aadmi Party got 22 seats. BJP is back in power in the national capital after 27 years. Congress party got settled with zero seats in the election. 

AAP National Convenor and former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal held a meeting with the winning AAP MLAs. During this meeting various things got discussed. Speaking on it, Former Delhi CM and AAP leader Atishi mentioned about the guidelines which was given during the meeting from Arvind Kejriwal.

Speaking on it, Former Delhi CM and AAP leader Atishi stated that, “AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal held a meeting with the newly elected 22 MLAs of the party and gave guidelines to all the MLAs that whatever work of the people is there in their respective assembly constituencies, that has to be done by the AAP MLAs.”

She further mentioned that, “The people have shown their trust in the 22 MLAs of AAP and sent them here and now it is our responsibility to serve them, to solve their problems and secondly it is our responsibility to play the role of opposition and it is the job of AAP MLAs to ensure that the party which is forming the government is answerable.”

Speaking on the role of opposition AAP leader and former Delhi CM Atishi said that, “BJP promised that in the first cabinet meeting, the scheme of Rs 2,500 will be passed and by 8th March, Rs. 2,500 will be deposited in the accounts of all women of Delhi. AAP will ensure accountability of the BJP on this and ensure that every woman in Delhi gets this Rs 2,500 from the BJP. We will also ensure that the work that AAP has done in the last 10 years is not stopped by the BJP.”

Further she stated that, “We would like to tell BJP that as they had promised not only will all Delhiites get free electricity, they will get 300 units of free electricity, all facilities will continue, government schools will remain good, free treatment will continue in Mohalla clinics, all treatment will continue in government hospitals, so we will ensure accountability of BJP whether it is to give Rs. 2500 to women of Delhi or continue the work done by Aam Aadmi Party.”

Speaking on the lost in Delhi Elections she said, “Right now analysis is going on as to why AAP lost, but this is the mandate of the people of Delhi, we respect the mandate. This election was conducted with so much hooliganism, such an election would have never happened in the history of Delhi. Where money is being distributed openly, liquor is being distributed openly, police are getting it distributed, and whoever is complaining about this is being put in jail…But we accept the mandate of the people of Delhi and will play the role of a constructive opposition.”
