Arvind Kejriwal held a press conference at Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) office at 1 on Saturday. Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann and other AAP leaders joined him. This is the first time the Delhi CM has appeared in public after his arrest on March 21.

Starting his speech by hailing inquilaab zindabad, Kejriwal showered heaps of allegations on the BJP government. Bashing Narendra Modi upfrontly, he stated that the PM wants one nation one leader, and is trying to demolish all other parties. Not just the Aam Aadmi Party, he has targeted every leader in whom he sees a scope of growth.

Modi sidelines his own leaders

Targeting the duo of the Modi-Shah govt, he added that Lal Krishna Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi and now even Shivraj Singh Chouhan have been sidelined by Modi. It was Shivraj Singh who brought the mandate of Madhya Pradesh for the BJP only to be wiped off. Pointing fingers at the ideology of Modi, he stated that he has used agencies against many leaders whom he sees as a challenge and he will get Mamata Banerjee and Uddhav Thackeray arrested if wins and will next target Yogi Adityanath.

Yogi will be removed in two months

Arvind claimed that Modi would engulf Yogi Adityanath’s career within two months and he would be removed from the post of chief minister of Uttar Pradesh. Mentioning the BJP policy of not being in power after 75 years of age, Arvind questioned who’s going to be the next PM if BJP wins. It is because Narendra Modi will reach 75 years of age in September and the party has been keeping the leaders of 75+ out of politics; LK Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi, and Sumitra Mahajan are examples.

Amit Shah to be next PM if BJP wins

Targetting the BJP autocracy, Kejriwal said that not Modi, Amit Shah would be the next PM if the BJP won because Modi would be 75 years old this year. Who would fulfill Modi ki guarantee if Modi won’t rule?

Arvind Kejriwal ensured he would campaign across states for his party and the INDIA bloc and experts say that the BJP would be limited to 220 seats.

Before the press conference, Kejriwal went to Hanuman Mandir at Connaught Place with his wife Sunita Kejriwal to offer prayers. He is slated to hold two roadshows in South and East Delhi today to campaign for the AAP candidates.
