Arunachal-Sikkim Assembly Election Results: BJP Clinches 10 Seats In Arunachal

The BJP has won 10 out of 60 seats in Arunachal Pradesh without contest. Counting is ongoing for 50 assembly seats, with BJP and Congress in direct competition. Results for 32 assembly seats in Sikkim are pending.

Before the announcement of the 2024 Lok Sabha election results on June 4, attention is focused on the assembly election outcomes in Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim. Vote counting has commenced in both states. The BJP has secured 10 out of 60 seats in Arunachal Pradesh uncontested. Presently, counting is underway for 50 assembly seats, with direct competition between the BJP and Congress. Results for 32 assembly seats in Sikkim are awaited.

SP Mangan Sonam D Bhutia stated that vote counting for assembly seats commenced at 6 am. Our sources indicate an absence of violence. Security forces have been stationed in sensitive areas, ensuring control over the situation. As per the Election Commission, Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM) is currently ahead in 13 seats. A majority in the Sikkim Assembly consists of 17 out of 32 assembly seats.
