Police reported that on Sunday evening in Bisrakh locality of Noida, a 28-year-old man was shot and wounded by two bikers allegedly involved in an altercation stemming from a longstanding rivalry. The suspects have since been apprehended.
Police reported that Sandeep Nagar, 28, lives with his family in Milak Lachhi village, Bisrakh, Greater Noida. According to his police complaint, on Sunday evening while he was outside his gym in the Bisrakh area, two acquaintances, identified as Shubhit Nagar, 27, and Sandeep Nagar, 29, approached him on a motorcycle.
Arvind Kumar, station house officer at Bisrakh, explained, ‘Due to their longstanding rivalry, a heated argument broke out. Subsequently, Shubhit discharged a homemade pistol, injuring Sandeep with a gunshot wound to his left leg.’

Upon hearing the gunshot, Sandeep’s uncle, who manages a nearby gym, rushed out and discovered Sandeep lying in a pool of blood.
Kumar stated that he was quickly taken to a nearby private hospital for treatment and is reported to be stable now.
Based on Sandeep’s complaint, Bisrakh police station registered a case under IPC sections 307 (attempted murder) and 504 (intentional insult). The suspects were apprehended from the Milak Lachhi area on Monday morning.
Police recovered a countrymade pistol along with three live cartridges and two empty cartridges from the suspects. They stated that ongoing investigations are in progress.
