Anurag Yadav, the NEET candidate who was arrested in connection with irregularities in the exam results, has confessed that the leaked question paper he received was identical to the actual exam paper.

According to a confession letter circulating online, 22-year-old Yadav, who is the nephew of an engineer deployed at Bihar’s Danapur Town Council (Danapur Nagar Parishad), stated that his relative Sikandar Prasad Yadavendu informed him that all preparations for the exam had been completed.

Yadav also mentioned that he was given both the leaked NEET exam question paper and the corresponding answers. In the confessional letter, Yadav stated that when he sat for the exam, the actual question paper he received matched the one provided by his uncle, as he had claimed. The letter also included Yadav’s signature.

Officials have confirmed that on Wednesday, the ministry requested a detailed report from Bihar Police’s Economic Offences Unit regarding these issues, according to news agency PTI.

The allegations primarily involve question paper leaks in states like Bihar, sparking protests in various cities and prompting petitions in several high courts and the Supreme Court.
