Kwatra justified the measure taken by Indian government (Operation Sindoor) and said, “So what we did day before yesterday, was essentially our response to these sub-human killings.” He reiterated that India had warned that being a responsible country, it will have a very measured, calibrated, proportionate, responsible response, and that’s what we did.

He added, “What we did was to take out the terror factories at 9 locations in Pakistan and PoK.”

When questioned about how does he see the situation right now with Pakistan and is India at war? Kwatra said, “We are at war with terrorists,” and added, “World should be concerned about Pakistan’s support of terrorist since last three decades.”

He further called out Pakistan’s denial of involvement in the Pahalgam terror attack as the first part of its strategy.

“The strikes were intended to hold the terrorists accountable and deliver justice to the victims. Pakistan’s subsequent military action is them saying that they stand with the terrorists," Kwatra added.
