Since Ram Navami falls on a Sunday, you won’t get a holiday for it. According to the bank holiday schedule, Thursday, April 10 will be a holiday for Mahavir Jayanti. Banks will also be closed on Monday, April 14 for Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar Jayanti, and on Friday, April 18 for Good Friday.
In Unnao, Uttar Pradesh, the District Magistrate has declared a restricted holiday on April 5. This day will be celebrated as the birth anniversary of Maharishi Kashyap and Maharaj Nishad Raj. People from the respective communities can take leave on this day.
The District Administration has announced the following public holidays:
