Bharuch: Hundreds of people swarmed to a hotel for a private job in the Bharuch district of Gujarat. The applicants rammed over each other to attempt the interview at the earliest which created commotion and chaos at the venue. The crowd was so dense that people pushed against the railing causing its breakage which took several people down with it.
The recruitment was taking place for a private company which had just ten vacancies that fetched 1,800 applicants to the interview venue at a hotel.
The applicants are seen lining up on both sides of the interview room from the gallery to the stairs while a dozen others keep pushing and waiting following the staircase. As applicants push each other and the crowd swells outside the room, many are seen jumping off the corridor and being pushed against the steel railing causing it to bend and break.
Unemployment has been one of the key issues of India these days. With a number of paper leaks and postponement of examinations, it has grown into manifolds. Indian National Congress has posted the video of hullabaloo and questioned the Gujarat model and unemployment in its caption.

The Gujarat model was once considered the ideal development model in India, at least by the BJP government. It is through that model that Narendra Modi impressed millions of Indians during his first Lok Sabha Elections in 2014.
