This initiative is part of the ‘One Nation, One Student ID’ program of the government, aligning with the new National Education Policy of 2020.

How To Get APAAR ID?
Students can get their APAAR ID by visiting their school, verifying the details and authenticating the identity. After the verification, APAAR ID is created and added to DigiLocker for storage and online access. Parental consent is necessary if the student is a minor.
Unified District Information System for Education (UDISE+) portal handles the creation and management of APAAR ID.
