Kota Suicide Case: In Kota, a 21-year-old NEET-UG student, Parshuram Jatav, took his own life in his rented room in Jawahar Nagar on Wednesday night. Parshuram, from Barsana in UP’s Mathura district, left no suicide note. His grieving father blamed the “NEET scam” for his son’s death. Parshuram had last spoken to his father, Khacharmal, around 1:15 pm on Wednesday, expressing his wish to return home, which his father agreed to.

NEET-UG Aspirant Found Dead, No Suicide Note
Later, Parshuram didn’t answer his father’s calls. Around 11:30 pm, concerned because he hadn’t seen Parshuram since the evening, the landlord knocked on his door and found it locked from the inside. The caretaker alerted the police, who broke down the door and discovered Parshuram’s body.
Kota Records 14th Student Suicide This Year
This is the 14th suicide by a coaching student in Kota this year, following 26 cases last year. Rajasthan minister Madan Dilawar stated that the number of student suicides reported in the state is “not unusual.”
