Andhra Pradesh: Student Found Dead In RGUKT Idupulapaya

Naidu was a resident of Freedpet in Srikakulam district. The police sent his body for postmortem to a government hospital in Vempalle.

A student was found hanging in a bathroom at Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT) at Idupulapaya in Andhra Pradesh’s YSR Kadapa district on Thursday.

According to IANS, the deceased has been identified as Narsimha Naidu. He was a second-year Pre-University Course (PUC) student at the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Ongole.

Naidu was a resident of Fareedpet in Srikakulam district. The police sent his body for postmortem to a government hospital in Vempalle.

Police have registered a case and launched a probe into the matter. Officials believe that mobile addiction and the recent death of his father could be reasons behind the extreme step.

Five of a family found dead at home in Hyderabad

In a separate incident, five members of a family were found dead at their residence in Makhtha, Mahaboobpet Maqta area of Telangana’s Hyderabad, police said on Thursday.

The deceased were identified as a man and his wife, their daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter.
“We received information that five members from the same family were found dead at their residence in Maktha, Mahaboobpet area. The deceased include a man, his wife, their daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter,” Miyapur police said.

“We have registered a case and are currently investigating the matter,” they added.
