Andhra Pradesh: A shocking incident recently emerged from Andhra Pradesh’s Ganapathinagar area, where a father allegedly killed his daughter. According to reports, he pushed her into a canal in Konaseema and later attempted to commit suicide. The accused, identified as Pilli Raju, belongs to Rayavaram Mandal’s Venture village. A police inspector Ramesh informed that the accused father was facing financial constraints.
What Exactly Happened?
On Monday, he picked up his 10-year-old son Pilli Sandeep, and 6-year-old daughter Pilli Karunya from school. He later took them to a canal where he pushed both his children. Sandeep managed to escape while Karunya reportedly drowned and died. The accused fled the scene after committing the crime. Meanwhile, efforts to track him are underway and a search operation has been launched by the police.
Police Launch Investigation
The case is being investigated thoroughly and talks are on to register a case against accused Raju. ANI quoted a police official as saying, “We will file a case against him, and search operations are ongoing to locate him. The police are investigating the case from all angles, including the possibility that Raju may have fled the scene after committing the crime. We are trying to determine whether Raju is alive or dead.”
Father Kills Two Sons In Kakinada
In yet another incident that occurred on Friday, a father allegedly killed his two sons in Kakinada’s Subbarao Nagar area. The shocking crime took place during the Holi festivities. Reports revealed that the accused even tried to commit suicide later. Police identified the deceased as Wanapalli Chandrakishore, who works as an assistant accountant. He killed his two children by tying their hands and feet and pushing their heads in buckets of water.
