Andhra Pradesh: Strangely, just before the Lok Sabha elections, a scandal about condom packs with political emblems shook Andhra Pradesh’s political establishment. There have been strong allegations and counter-accusations over the distribution of these branded condoms during door-to-door campaigns by both the opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and the ruling YSR Congress Party (YSRCP).

As part of their campaign strategy, the TDP was accused by the YSRCP of distributing condom packets, which sparked the dispute.

On X, the previous Twitter, YSRCP posted a video of TDP cadres distributing branded condoms.

“Will it stop with condoms or even start distributing Viagra to the public?” The party of Jagan Mohan Reddy questioned X.

In quick response, the TDP uploaded a similar video showing YSRCP cadres passing out condom packages bearing their party’s emblem.

Public Reaction On Andhra Pradesh Condom War

Many people have criticized the two sides for their improper and insulting tit-for-tat exchange, and some even made fun of it. One user wrote “Tdp condom to protect people from aids(ysrcp)”, second user said All YSRCP cheap tricks, another user commented Marketing. Awareness of safe sex probably.
