Andhra Pradesh: Six people died in a crash early Friday morning in Andhra’s Krishna district as per police reports. The tragic incident happened when a van trying to overtake a log-carrying tractor, collided with a container truck.
Eyewitnesses reported that the truck hit the tractor and overturned near Seethanapalli, killing five people on the spot. Another person succumbed to injuries on the way to the hospital, according to Machilipatnam DSP Subhani. The investigation is underway.

Five injured were taken to nearby hospitals in critical condition. The accident caused a huge traffic jam over a stretch of two kilometers on the street. Police and local authorities quickly arrived at the scene and began rescue operations to assist those who sustained injuries in the crash.
The identification of the six people who lost their lives is still in process and hasn’t been done yet.
DSP Subhani stated that an Ashok Leyland truck collided with a tractor transporting wooden logs while attempting to pass it. Five individuals lost their lives on the incident spot while another person passed away while being taken to the hospital. More information is awaited.
In the same district, a recent accident on May 27 killed four people and injured one. A car carrying five family members from Tamil Nadu crashed into a truck. They were traveling from Kovvuru in West Godavari district to their home state.
