The Maharaja Surajmal Braj University prospectus brings to light that this semester, the students will get classes from none other than Bollywood celebrities Hema Malini and Amitabh Bachchan. The university has put up their pictures in the brochure as teachers for its Arts Department. Besides them, the famous writer and actress Sushmita Mukherjee has also been listed as faculty in the Arts Department.
Prominent Figures Join Faculty
The university administration has appointed more than a few well-known faces from different walks of life as faculty members, including film actors. OSD IAS officer Govind Ram Jayaswal has been appointed as faculty in the Department of Management Studies and Entrepreneurship on behalf of Governor Kalraj Mishra. On the faculty list, there are also the names of IAS officer Ram Prakash Sisodia, Special Chief Secretary of Andhra Pradesh, and another IAS officer, Dalip Singh, belonging to the Haryana cadre, who is presently appointed as Chief Secretary for Revenue and Disaster Management. Multiple foreign nationals have been named as faculty at the varsity.

According to University Chancellor Prof. Ramesh Chandra, the university’s prospectus is ready, which will have many celebrities. Prof. Chandra has said that all these personalities can also contribute towards teaching something to the students. He believes that the attachment of their names with the university will inspire the students. He informed that the prospectus is almost final. Permission has been taken from many celebrities for publishing their photographs; while the rest are being tried to be contacted.
