New Delhi: Union Home Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Amit Shah Monday hit back at senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over “40% commission BJP government” jibe.
Shah challenged the grand-old party to approach court if they have any “evidence.” Talking to a media person during a public rally in Karnataka, Shah said, “They can talk about it and should go to court if they have concrete evidence. Neither there’s any probe nor there’s any case. How will people believe in such baseless allegations?”
“Congress has a casteist nature. BJP is taking every sect along with it including Vokaligga, Lingayat, SC and ST. We will form the government in Karnataka with an absolute majority,” added the union minister.
Shah added that there was a single BJP candidate from the Hassan district so far but this time, the change will come and so will the saffron party after winning all fours seats.
Launching an attack against the Congress party, Shah said, the Congress will get a sharp defeat as people will elect the saffron party to power.
The union minister and BJP strongman held a roadshow in Sakleshpur in Hassan district in the poll-bound Karnataka ahead of the state Assembly polls on May 10.

Rahul Gandhi’s Allegations
His remarks came in response to a statement made by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi who alleged that the saffron party takes 40% bribe and later use the money to buy MLAs.
Earlier on Sunday, Gandhi said, “BJP government is the most corrupt in India, they take 40% commission… the same money was used to steal MLAs of previous government. Will the PM tell about source of money used to buy MLAs in Goa, MP, Karnataka, Northeast…”
Gandhi was addressing a public rally in Karnataka’s Vijayapura ahead of the Assembly polls and said, “The Congress will form the government in Karnataka with 150 seats while 40 per cent commission government of the BJP will be reduced to 40 seats.”
