New Delhi: Former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Yadav Saturday slammed Union Home Minister Amit Shah. He also asserted that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will be wiped out from the Centre in 2024 just like Bihar.

“Amit Shah is perturbed. His government was wiped out from there (Bihar). The same is going to happen in 2024,” Lalu Yadav said.

He also hit back at Shah and said, “So, he is running around & saying “jungle raj” and all that. What did he do when he was in Gujarat? There was jungle raj when he was there.”

On September 25, Yadav along with state Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will meet Congress interim chief Sonia Gandhi in Delhi. They will hold discussion over uniting the Opposition against BJP.

Before the meeting, Yadav told media that they will all work collectively to bring Opposition along to dethrone BJP form the Centre in Lok Sabha polls in 2024.

“Yes, we will uproot (them). How many times do I need to say this?” he added.
