While India has completely halted both imports and exports with Pakistan due to its support of terrorism, these Pakistani products are finding their way into Indian households without paying GST or complying with standard laws and regulations.

Pakistani Cosmetics Being Sold Unchecked

Nilotpal Mrinal, Vice President of the BJP Uttar Bhartiya Morcha, personally tested this claim. He ordered a “Made in Pakistan” cosmetic product online from Mumbai, and within three days, it was delivered to his home. According to Nilotpal, the distributors of these Pakistani items are based in places like Meerut, Delhi, and Malegaon.

What’s more alarming is that these products often carry no information regarding their ingredients, raising fears that dangerous substances, like harmful chemicals or even acids, could be used in them. A product worth Rs. 50 is being sold in India for Rs. 1600, allowing profits to be funnelled back to Pakistan, which may be used to support terrorism.

What’s more alarming is that these products often carry no information regarding their ingredients, raising fears that dangerous substances.

After receiving the product, Nilotpal filed complaints with the Mumbai Police, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and other investigative bodies, demanding urgent action.

Toxic Skincare Imports Seized in Pune

Meanwhile, the FDA has seized illegal skin-whitening products in Pune, particularly creams and soaps from the Pakistani brand “Goree”. These items were smuggled from Lahore without proper import-export licenses and were being sold in local stores, salons, and clinics.

FDA investigations revealed these products contained mercury, lead, and steroids, chemicals known to cause skin cancer, neurological issues, skin thinning, and other serious health problems. As a result, the FDA has banned their sale and distribution and has advised the public to avoid them completely.

Global Bans Reflect Similar Concerns

Countries like New Zealand and Australia have also banned such skin-whitening products after finding them contaminated with “forever chemicals, “which are dangerous substances that remain in the body and environment for a long time, potentially causing cancer and hormonal imbalances.
