Aligarh SHOCKER: Woman Throws Acid On Ex-BF – ‘He Was Blackmailing Me’

Aligarh: In a horrific incident in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, a woman allegedly threw acid on her ex-lover in a restaurant. According to media reports, the man is being treated for severe burn injuries, meanwhile the woman is taken into police custody.

The woman alleged being blackmailed and threatened by the man, who had also promised to marry her. According to reports, they agreed to meet at a restaurant. Just minutes into their conversation, she reportedly, pulled out a bottle from her bag and threw acid at him. She explained the reason, stating, “I didn’t marry him and married someone else. I am divorced and he promised to marry but kept threatening me.”

According to NDTV reports, the restaurant manager said, “We had just opened the restaurant. When they came, we were cleaning the restaurant. She was sitting outside and later came inside. Five minutes later, a man came to meet her. They ordered a dosa and chole bhature. They were talking and I went for breakfast. A man came running and said sir, please see what happened…I couldn’t understand what happened, and then the woman said, I threw acid on him,”

Investigations Underway

The woman, who is also a mother, also received minor burn treatment in the hospital. Assistant Commissioner of Police, Mayank Pathak said that both knew each other and were at loggerheads due to personal reasons.

Further investigation is being done by the police, while the woman claims she was blackmailed. Mr. Pathak informed that the man is on the run and that it’s too early to comment on her allegations. Officials are trying to locate the man.
