In a horrifying incident, a seven-year old boy has been allegedly beaten by his teacher at a private school in Aligarh. The incident came to light after the boy narrated about it to his mother. According to the reports, the boy had been beaten for forgetting his school bag. The family has filed complaint with the police.
Father of the boy told police that his son is a student of UKG at a private school. He was not in the city when the incident happened. Boy’s grandfather had dropped him off at school that day as his mother was unwell. According to the family, the child had forgotten his school bag at home which prompted the teacher to beat him ruthlessly. “The teacher beat him severely,” said the boy’s father.
They have also accused that his clothes and shoes were removed and electric shocks were given to him. The family has claimed that the boy was subjected to cruelty.
After the boy recounted the incident to his mother, the family went to school and held protest against the administration.
They informed the police about the incident after which the police began its investigation. They started questioning the school staff.
What Did The School Say?
However, the principal of the school has denied the accusation levelled by the family and said the complaint is false. “The complaints of the child being subjected to electric shock are wrong. We are ready to show the CCTV footage. The allegations are unsubstantiated,” said the Principal.
