New Delhi: Jammu and Kashmir police personnel have made a major breakthrough. They have arrested a terrorist who has his ties with terrorists organization Al Qaeda. The arrest have been made in the Ramban area of Jammu. The police have also recovered arms and ammunition from the nabbed individual.

Individual identified as Mostafa Khan

The Jammu and Kashmir police has said that they have apprehended an Al-Qaeda operative. He has been identified as Amiruddin Khan who is son of Mostafa Khan and a resident of West Bengal.

Chinese grenade recovered, booked under UAPA

The police official further informed that a Chinese grenade was recovered from Khan apart from arms and ammunition.

A case has been registered under the section of Indian Arms Act, Sec 4 Explosive Act and 13, 20 UAPA. Further investigation is still underway in the matter.
