Air India Flight To Kolkata Aborted Before Takeoff At Delhi Airport Due To Technical Issue

According to media reports, the aircraft was on the runway ready to take off when the technical fault was detected. Keeping safety in mind, the pilots immediately aborted the flight, ensuring the safety of all passengers and crew members.

According to Air India spokesperson, “Flight AI2403 operating from Delhi to Kolkata on 21 July 2025 has been rescheduled to depart later this evening, necessitated by a technical issue detected during the take-off roll. The cockpit crew decided to discontinue the take-off, following Standard Operating Procedures. All passengers have disembarked and our ground colleagues in Delhi are extending support to them…”

Due to this incident, some other flights were slightly delayed, but the normal operations of the airport were not affected.
