The threats were made via a social media account on X (formerly Twitter), targeting four flights: Air India Express (IX765) from Jaipur to Bengaluru via Ayodhya, SpiceJet (SG116) from Darbhanga to Mumbai, Akasa Air (QP1373) from Siliguri to Bengaluru, and Air India (AI127) from Delhi to Chicago. Security Checks and Precautionary Measures
Security agencies conducted thorough checks in response to the threats. The Delhi-Chicago flight was diverted to Canada for security screening, while the Air India Express flight underwent inspection at Ayodhya airport. The SpiceJet and Akasa Air flights landed safely, with all necessary security protocols followed.

Previous Hoax Threats

The Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) is collaborating with cybersecurity agencies and police authorities to track down the source of these fake bomb threats. Investigations are ongoing to identify and apprehend those responsible for the hoaxes.
