New Delhi: Air India flight going from Delhi to America had an emergency landing at Magadan Airport in Russia due to a technical issue. Air India spokesperson said that the arrangement is being made for passengers to reach their destination.
There was a technical fault in the engine of India’s aircraft AI173. There were 216 passengers and 16 crew members on board the aircraft. The aircraft was diverted and landed safely at Magadan Airport in Russia.

The spokesperson informed that all assistance is being provided to the passengers and alternative options will be provided to them to reach their destinations at the earliest. Mandatory ground checking of the aircraft is underway. Air India has apologized to the passengers for this inconvenience.
