In a significant move to enhance connectivity and travel experience for passengers, Air India Express has launched direct flights from Ahmedabad and Chandigarh to Bengaluru. By launching these direct flights, the airline has opened seamless travel options for both business and leisure travellers heading to India’s Silicon Valley from both the locations.
“We’re now flying direct from Ahmedabad and Chandigarh to Bengaluru, our largest domestic hub with over 400 weekly flights to 34 cities. From Ahmedabad, enjoy convenient one-stop connections via Bengaluru to 26 domestic destinations and 3 international getaways. From Chandigarh, connect via Bengaluru to 23 destinations across South Asia,” stated the airline in an X post.
The airline inaugurated its first direct flights on the Ahmedabad–Bengaluru and Chandigarh–Bengaluru routes on Monday, September 1. The Ahmedabad route will operate once daily, but is set to become twice-daily from September 16. Meanwhile, Chandigarh will benefit from two daily non-stop flights, offering convenient options.

Moreover, Bengaluru-Dehradun service is also scheduled to take off on September 15, further enhancing connectivity.
