In addition, another meeting for the NDA floor leaders is also scheduled for today. The monsoon session of Parliament will continue till August 11 and there will be total of 17 sittings.

Meanwhile, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi also urged all parties to contribute towards productive discussions on legislative business and other items during the 17-day monsoon session.

The upcoming Monsoon session of Parliament is scheduled to take place in the old Parliament building. This session holds significance as various important matters are expected to be discussed and debated.

In a show of unity, opposition parties convened a meeting in Bengaluru where leaders from 26 parties were present. They collectively decided to form a group called the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA). This meeting follows a previous gathering held in Patna.

Simultaneously, the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) also organized a meeting, which included an address by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

During the monsoon session, a bill is expected to be introduced to replace the ordinance concerning the control of services in Delhi. Additionally, the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Bill 2023, which received Cabinet approval earlier this month, is also anticipated to be introduced for discussion.

Meanwhile, the Congress party is demanding discussions on various issues, including the situation in Manipur and the protection of federal structures, among others. These matters are likely to be raised during the session, highlighting the diverse topics that will be addressed by different political parties.
