New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi Monday will speak at India B20 Summit 2023 in the national at 12 noon on August 27, 2023 ahead of the G20 final meeting scheduled to be held on September 9-10.
The B20 India Summit brings together policymakers, business leaders and experts from around the world to weigh in and discuss the B20 India Communiqué. The India B20 Communiqué includes 54 recommendations and 172 policy actions for submission to the G20.
What is B20 Summit?
Business 20 (B20) is the official G20 forum for dialogue with the global business community. Founded in 2010, the B20 is one of the G20’s most important engagement groups, in which companies and professional organizations participate.
B20 strives to develop concrete and actionable policy recommendations to promote economic growth and development. The three-day summit will be held from August 25 to 27. Its theme is R.A.I.S.E – Responsible, Accelerated Business, Innovation, Sustainability and Equity.
More than 1,500 delegates from around 55 countries attended.
Who Will Attend?
The meeting is supposed to be joined by not just Indian business leaders but also members from other nations who attended different sessions in the summit. The buisness leaders discussed trade, economic development, sustainable growth, and other curcial issues that were raised on the forum.

G20 Presidency
Every year, the G20 President appoints a B20 President (a prominent business leader of the G20 host country) who is supported by the B20 Sherpa and the B20 Secretariat.
The B20 aims to make concrete and actionable policy recommendations on the priorities of each rotating chair to promote economic growth and development. The B20 is based on the Task Force (TF) and the Action Council (AC) tasked with developing consensus-based policy recommendations for the G20 and international organisations.
The B20 formally forwards its final recommendations to the G20 Chair at the B20 Summit.
