In a shocking and disturbing incident, a man from Agra reportedly filmed an assault video after letting his friend rape his wife. He allegedly demanded a ransom of Rs 2 lakh from his wife. Reports revealed that he even threatened her by blackmailing to release the videos online. According to reports, both the accused husband and his friend have been arrested and a police case was registered against them.
The victim has been identified as a labourer working in Agra’s Sita Nagar area, which falls under the jurisdiction of Etmaddaula police station. The woman, a mother to a 12-year-old boy has claimed that her husband visits home every month for a few days. She alleged that her husband brought his friend home, a native of Achhnera, Agra.
The two had dinner, while the victim left to sleep with her son, the reports added. Her husband asked for Rs 5000 after the woman woke up. He later called her and demanded a ransom of Rs 2 lakh. The accused man next threatened to leak the video if she didn’t give him the money. The victim was shocked to discover that her husband, in an intoxicated state, had allegedly let his friend rape her. She later filed a police complaint against her husband.
NDTV quoted ACP Hemant Kumar as saying, “A woman has filed a complaint against her husband in Etmaddolla police station of Agra claiming that he got her raped by his friend. The woman said that her husband got her raped by his friend after giving her intoxicants and also made a video. The husband also demanded Rs 2 lakh from his wife. He threatened to make the video viral if the wife did not give him Rs 2 lakh. The husband also sent the video to his wife’s mobile. The police have registered a case under relevant sections and arrested the woman’s husband and his friend.”
