Agniveer Lalit Kumar of 7 JAT Regiment laid down his life in the line of duty while on an area of Domination Patrol in the General Area of Krishna Ghati Brigade (J&K) on July 25. The brave soldier was on a patrol when he made the supreme sacrifice after stepping on a live land mine.
Along with the martyred Jawan, there were two others, a Junior Commissioned Officer(JCO), who also sustained injuries in the Landmine blast near the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district on Thursday. As per media reports, the KG sector is a sensitive stretch of land along the LOC.

GOC, WhiteKnightCorps, and all ranks paid a solemn tribute to Agniveer Lalit Kumar of 7 JAT Regiment, who made the supreme sacrifice.
