Uttar Pradesh: New revelations continue to emerge in Aligarh’s famous case, where a woman eloped with her daughter’s fiancé just a week before the wedding in Aligarh. As per the latest update, both were arrested at the Nepal border after a gherao by the police. A search operation was launched after they went missing on April 10.
Police couldn’t catch them earlier as their mobile phones were switched off. However, on Tuesday, when the boy, Rahul, switched on his cell phone, police traced his location, leading to their arrest. Coincidentally, they were held on the same day as the daughter’s wedding date. Amidst the twists, it now makes sense why the son-in-law and his mother-in-law fell in love.
10 Years Age Gap
There is an age difference of 10 years between Anita and Rahul. Anita’s daughter Shivani was supposed to tie the knot with Rahul on April 16 in Manoharpur within the Mandrak police station area limits. However, on April 8, they both eloped. As a point of information, Anita Devi is 34 years old, while Rahul is 24 years old.
Big Decision By Rahul’s Father
According to reports, Rahul’s father made a big decision regarding the embarrassment that was caused by his son in society. He announced that he will not give his son a house and land. Additionally, he will evict him from his movable and immovable property. The father also alleged that Rahul had taken cash and jewellery from the house.
Father Accused Woman Of Black Magic
Reports stated that Rahul’s father has accused his son’s future mother-in-law of doing Vashikaran and black magic. He said that she stayed in their house for 5 days and brought two amulets. She tied those amulets around her daughter’s fiancé’s waist and neck. Due to their sudden disappearance, it is now suspected that because of that amulet, he ran away with his future mother-in-law.
